- I live in a 100 year old farm house in northern Indiana with my husband, two teenage sons, our dog and 13 chickens. Until 5 years ago I was a city girl. I had always admired the country houses when we went on drives and now I am lucky enough to live in one! Next to being a mother and wife, I love decorating – I am also very cheap. I love to shop and would never be able to shop with the gusto I do if I didn’t do it on the cheap. Yard/garage/estate sales are my favorites; discount stores, Craigslist, and Goodwill are close seconds. It is always exciting finding a true bargain, then bringing it home to find the perfect place for it.
